W-SR baseball defeats Waterloo Columbus 17-16 in huge offensive showing
BY RYAN HULL. The Waverly Shell-Rock Go-Hawks defeated the Sailors of Waterloo Columbus Wednesday, finishing the game that was called in the fourth inning Friday due to lightning in the area. The Go-Hawks had already pushed out an 11-7 lead over the sailors off a two-out rally scoring three runs in the fourth before the game was called.
